Summer of 2010

Well it seems as though summer is really flying by now! It has been a busy one too! The kids did little league baseball and teeball, swimming lessons, and have had to help out around the place a lot. Roger and I have been also playing softball, doing tons of yardwork, working, doing volleyball camps, and many other things. One highlight of our summer was when Jeff returned from his mission. He sure did a great job and has grown a strong testimony and definately has wisened up a little! Katelyn turned 8 July 1st and is getting baptized July 31st and we are way excited for that! She is such a good girl. The girls and I sang at the variety show for the 24th of July and that was cool. It was the girls' first time to sing in front of a crowd. I was way proud of them. They also did so well that they got asked to sing at Katelyn's baptism too. I have started biking about 20 miles 3 times a week. It has been tough, but if I stick to it maybe I can be a little healthier. Mason is getting so big and is at that stage where I can't even leave the room or he screams and screams which can be kind of annoying! It makes the day long. He still prefers to army crawl everywhere. Well I guess that is a basic run down of what has been happening lately, so I will try harder to update this more often.

Whats New with the Tims Family?

Well I think I should start with what has been going on with us for the past few months to get this whole blog thing started. Roger is still working at Bridger Valley Electric and doing really well. He gets to go to a training in April in Vegas. I am going with him; as well as his brother Mark and his wife Deborah. I think we will have a blast. I have been busy with keeping up with the kids, the house, the storage sheds, apartments, volleyball, and whatever else comes along. I love coaching volleyball! It is so fun and what a great experience it is to be with some really great young ladies who teach me probably as much or more than I teach them! My kids are all doing great! We have had our fair share of sickness over the past few months, including a bad case of RSV for my little baby Mason. He is growing like a weed though. He is at that point where he doesn't want set down and I can't ever turn my back on him or he just screams. It has been hard, but I finally have made him sleep through the night. I think that is one of the worst things as a mom is to let them cry it out. It is so sad. Colter is such a funny kid and keeps me on my toes all the time. Right now we are trying the potty training thing and he isn't doing too bad, but it seems when I think he has got it then he reverts back to not wanting to use it. We will keep our fingers crossed that he gets it soon! Ashlee is so looking forward to school this next fall. She did awesome at screening and is really excited about spending more time with her friends at school. Katelyn is doing really well in school and is still quite the comedian. So many of the things that she says catch me offguard. She is looking forward to doing pitching machine this year with Brianna. Brianna just finished junior jazz and has really improved since last year. I am going to have to spend more time outside with them this year to help them become better now that I am not pregnant. (YEAH!) Brianna gets to go to her first volleyball camp this summer and is excited. She is so smart and fun. We are so grateful for all our kids. We had a great Easter and hope everyone else did too. Well I think that is good for now!
